Fees for the 2018/19 academic year are £6,765 per year.
As an approved provider of Higher Education, financial support is available for all Futureworks degree and diploma courses and as part of your application to study at Futureworks, you’ll need to think about how you’ll be funding your course. Depending on your circumstances, there’s a range of financial help and support available.
Funding for degree courses
Degree courses are eligible for funding via a loan from the Student Loans Company (SLC), and students can apply for a loan for each year of study. It is important that when you apply for student finance you list Futureworks Training Ltd as the institution you will be studying at (this has changed from University of Central Lancashire as per previous years) so that delays in payment of your loans (and grants if applicable) are avoided.
As a private institution, Futureworks students are able to borrow a maximum of £6,165 per year towards their tuition fees. Tuition fees for Futureworks degree programmes are £6,765 per year, which means that if you’re using a student loan from the government to fund your course you will need to pay an additional £600 yourself, for each year of study.
This can be paid upfront at the start of the first semester, most students choose to setup a monthly direct debit at no additional charge and spread the cost over the academic year. Direct debit options are available to suit your individual requirements. For students to be eligible for SLC funding, they must be studying a designated course.
Degree courses at Futureworks are designated each year by the Department for Education. We have made an application for our degree programmes to be designated for the 2018-19 academic year. We expect this process to be completed in early 2018. Click here for more information.
Our Admissions Team is here to help, and they can guide you through the process. If you have any questions about funding your degree programme, or about tuition fee loans and/or direct debits, please call us on 0161 214 4602.
