Our Open Days are a vibrant and welcoming experience. You’ll have the chance to meet our current students and graduates who will personally guide you through our state-of-the-art facilities. Hear first hand about their journey at Futureworks and discover what makes our community so unique.

During the tour, you’ll witness the impressive array of resources available to our students. Step into our studios and classrooms to watch live demonstrations by our talented staff and students. See for yourself how we equip our students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the creative industries.

What to expect on the day

When you arrive, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our dedicated tutors, ready to share insights about our courses and answer any questions you may have. Engage in meaningful conversations to help you determine which course is the perfect fit for your aspirations.

Next, one of our enthusiastic students will lead you on a group tour of our cutting-edge facilities. You’ll see a wealth of student work and catch our students in action, working on their current projects.

Our friendly Student Services team will be on hand to guide you through the application process, student finance options, accommodation, and support services. We understand that it can be overwhelming, so after your tour and conversations, take a moment to relax with a brew and a biscuit, and mingle with fellow visitors. If you need to revisit any part of the tour or have more questions, feel free to join another tour or chat with our tutors again. For those who might need a quiet moment, a designated quiet room is available to sit and unwind.

Our Open Days run from 12-4pm, with tours taking place throughout the event, so you can join us at your convenience. Most visitors spend about an hour with us, but you’re welcome to stay longer and delve deeper into our offerings with our staff and students.

If you’re passionate about Film & TV courses, don’t miss the chance to tour our studio space near Media City! Doors will be open for tours from 12-2pm, and afterwards, you can head over to Riverside to join the Open Day activities there. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and take advantage of guided tours, engaging discussions with course leaders, and support from Student Services.
