GETTING TO US
Futureworks’ entrance is located just next door to Caffe Nero on New Bailey Street, which is next to the small Tesco. We’re directly opposite the recently developed New Bailey complex. There’s meter parking right outside our entrance, and also across the street and round the side of our campus on Browncross Street.
You can also park at the Salford New Bailey NCP car park which is a 3 minute walk from our entrance. The postcode for this is M3 5EN and a 2 hour stay costs £7.50
If you’re coming in by train then the closest station is Salford Central, which is just over the road from our Riverside Campus building.
Deansgate-Castlefield Metrolink station is the closest Metrolink station to the New Bailey Street Campus. It’s a 15 minute walk straight down Deansgate, past the Hilton and Great Northern on your right and past the John Rylands Library on your left. Then turn left down Bridge Street and continue until you cross the bridge and you will arrive at the New Bailey Street Campus.
Buses run very close to Futureworks. Look out for Metroshuttle bus 1 as shown on this map. These city centre buses are entirely free to use.

Opening hours vary throughout the academic year, but office hours are general 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
Visitors are required to sign in and out at reception on arrival. If you are working with one of our students you must be met by the student at reception and escorted by them to whichever area of the building you are working in.
Our building is wheelchair friendly and we have lift access to all floors. There is also stair access if you prefer not to use the lifts.

Parking
The car parks listed below are all within walking distance to Futureworks. Parking charges vary so please check before parking:

There are also several parking bays around the building. Please see individual parking meters for charges and conditions.
If you are cycling to us there are bike racks outside the People’s History Museum opposite the Futureworks building and also on Browncross street, opposite Browncross Street outdoor NCP – the post code is M60 9HP. Please note that you leave your bike at your own risk and Futureworks takes no responsibility for any bikes stored off the premises.
