Get Involved, Become a Student Partner

It’s vital that our students have a say in their education while studying at Futureworks. That’s why we have Student Partners. At the start of the academic year, we ask students like you to put themselves forward for nomination as Futureworks Student Partners.

Student Partners can make a big difference for students and themselves. They act as an essential link between the Futureworks faculty and students. They’re a listening ear and a supportive shoulder for students, and they’re an active voice in our creative community, ensuring that student voices are heard, considered and acted upon. Furthermore, by becoming a Student Partner, you’ll meet new people from all Schools and courses, make new friends, develop better communication skills, improve your problem-solving, be better organised and gain leadership skills.

Are you up for the challenge of supporting your fellow students and helping make positive changes in your course, your School and Futureworks while gaining additional skills along the way?

Keep an eye out for more information regarding Student Partner nominations via email and your VLE soon and in the meantime, here are the three Futureworks Student Partner Categories:

“Being a Student Partner helped give me a sense of belonging at Futureworks, and on top of being a great way to bolster your self-esteem and social skills, it feels incredibly rewarding to see the ideas we put forward be realised in real-time. All in all – go for it!”
