Graduate Profile – 3D Junior Artist, Absolute Post
Getting time to speak to Sersha about her work was difficult for us, because she’s fully booked up! We had a chat about her experience at Futureworks and what she’s been up to since finishing her Degree in Visual Effects with us. She was keen to praise her tutors for teaching her valuable lessons.
“There’s a lot of opportunity to be creative.” Sersha told us, “Visual effects can get this rep for being very technical, but Futureworks teaches you to not just be a good technical artist but to harness the skills creatively. And that in some respect is more valued in the industry than just knowing what to do.”
Sersha found herself working on an advertisement for Skincare giant E45, “I was the only 3D artist on the job; seeing the end result was super satisfying knowing it was all my 3D work.”
It was great to catch up with Sersha, we’re super proud to see her going to work in the industry she came to us wanting to pursue. Keep it up, Sersha!
