What Is UCAS Discovery?

The aim of a Discovery event is to help you decide on your next steps.

At the event, you can:

• chat to universities and colleges about their courses and uni life
• speak to employers and apprenticeship providers about what an apprenticeship is like and the options available
• speak to qualified careers advisers about your future
• listen to talks from experts in their fields
• hang out with our UCAS experts to get dedicated support about your options

There’s a whole host of things to do at UCAS Discovery.

Visit dedicated zones to explore:

• Unis and colleges: speak to hundreds of unis and colleges about subjects you’re interested in studying, and ask the questions you won’t find in a prospectus
• Apprenticeships and employers: get the lowdown from employers about their apprenticeship offering, and what it’s like to work in their industry
• Big Q&A stage: Listen to talks about subjects, careers, and get practical support with your application, finance, accommodation and more
• Chill and charge: Hang out with our careers advisers and UCAS experts in our chill and charge zone.

Futureworks will be at Stand 6 at UCAS Discovery Manchester where you will be able to speak to us about the courses, student life and so much more…

We offer courses in Art & Design, Sound & Music Production and Film, TV & Media and you can also access information through the Futureworks UCAS profile.
