Partner University Facilities

As a Futureworks degree student, you are also enrolled as a student of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). This gives you access to a range of facilities both online and at the campus in Preston.

If you would like to get involved with any of the Student Union activities at UCLan, please email [email protected] or visit their website for more information.

You can access a range of resources online through the MyUCLan portal including e-journals and databases, e-books, resources for study skills and a dedicated eLearn section. You also have access to Lynda.com, which offers industry-led online tutorials in software, study skills and employability.

Partner students can access careers support via the UCLan website. This includes e-guidance, telephone appointments and campus events alongside a wide selection of online resources including interview practice, CV builder, alumni connect, career courses and a job vacancy portal.

In order to use any of the University of Central Lancashire’s Services,  you will need a UCLan card. To get a card you will need to upload a recent photo and your UCLan ID number (which you will receive when you enrol online). Once you have applied for your card it will be sent out to your home address.

If you have any questions about our partner facilities and resources please visit the Futureworks Student Services office.
