We’re thrilled to announce that Futureworks received outstanding feedback from our students in the latest National Students Survey, released on July 10th. Operated by the Office for Students, the regulator for higher education in England, the survey asks students questions that cover the entire framework of their higher education provider.
Surveyed students said that Futureworks’ tutors are easy to contact when they need them and they’re incredibly supportive. They awarded us an impressive rating of over 95% for academic support and mentioned that our Tutors are very passionate and knowledgeable. One-on-one time being always available was a strong point and Students liked that our class sizes are small and it’s easy to chat with Tutors – this specialised support really helps them improve their coursework.
Furthermore, our students rated Futureworks 90% for work assessment and feedback, stating that Tutors are always keen to provide feedback and receive it and they keep them up-to-date on industry changes and trends. Our help in preparing students for when they graduate was also recognised as being highly beneficial. It’s clear to see that our increased efforts to add value to student learning alongside broader academic improvements are helping boost students’ learning experiences and their overall performance.
When it came to questioning our students about how Futureworks IT resources and equipment support their learning, we were rated 92%. This goes to show that the facilities and IT infrastructure we have in place are the best for our students. We always strive to stay up-to-date with industry standards and support our students with the equipment, technology, software, and facilities they need and will be expected to use when they graduate into a creative career.
Finally, we are delighted that our students rated us at 92% when asked about the freedom they feel in expressing their ideas, opinions, and beliefs. Most students expressed that they are given creative freedom and are encouraged to express their individuality. This reflects the values, culture, and creative community we have cultivated at Futureworks, and we’re proud to have been recognised for this by our students.
Our commitment to providing outstanding learning and industry-ready graduates is unwavering and proven, not only by this latest survey, but by data demonstrating 79% of Futureworks students graduate with a first or 2:1.
