Graduate Profile – Lisa Lau, Freelance Animator & Illustrator
Lisa Lau, BA (Hons) Digital Animation with Illustration graduate, has her latest project on Amazon Prime. Entitled ‘Samantha V Hutton – Origin to the English Witch with the Magical Voice’, the piece was animated entirely by Lisa.
It was also selected to be screened at The Lift Off festival in London in December, part of a global festival network that promotes true independent cinema and supports grassroots filmmakers.
The animation centres around the story of a witch who is brought to back to life and was a collaborative effort with actress and author Samantha V Hutton. This short 2D animation is intended as a pilot.
