Financial support for any student who may have a temporary financial difficulty whilst studying at Futureworks.
The loan must be re-paid when the student receives the subsequent maintenance loan from Student Finance. Emergency Loan payments are assessed on an individual basis and the loan amount will be given in accordance with the student’s needs.
Students must be:
• fully enrolled at Futureworks
• in receipt of a maintenance loan from Student Finance
• experiencing temporary financial hardship
• first time recipient per academic year
A student can apply for an emergency loan during any year of study.
Applications will be reviewed & approved by the Head of Student Affairs and Vice-Principal.
Students must attend a support meeting with the Student Welfare Officer to discuss their individual situation.
Up to £250.
Up to the scheduled date of the last installment of the Term 3 maintenance loan.
