Financial support for a student who is struggling with unforeseen hardship.
Examples include supermarket vouchers or the purchase of a travel card to pay for travel between home and Futureworks. The hardship fund is limited by the total size of the budgeted funds and will change on an annual basis.
Students must be:
• fully enrolled at Futureworks
• experiencing temporary financial hardship
• first time recipient per academic year
A student can apply for the hardship fund during any year of study.
Applications will be reviewed & approved by the Head of Student Affairs and Principal.
Students must attend a support meeting with the Student Welfare Officer to discuss their individual situation.
Emergency Hardship payments are assessed on an individual basis and the amount distributed will be given in accordance with the student’s needs.
Last day of the academic year in Semester 2
