If you’re applying to Futureworks via UCAS, the equal consideration deadline date for your application is Wednesday, the 29th of January, by 18:00 (6:00 pm).
If you’re applying through your school or college, please check with them for their deadline. Give them enough time to read and check your application, provide you with any feedback, write your reference and submit your application to UCAS.
If you’re seeking help with your application, you can ask your school or college for support, and the UCAS website provides some great advice.
Here are the steps you must take when filling in your UCAS application to apply for a course with Futureworks. We assume you’re already registered with UCAS, but if not, visit the UCAS Hub.
- Complete your details, and please ensure that your contact information is up-to-date, especially your primary email address, so we can contact you about your application.
- Complete your education history. If you have any questions about entry requirements, please contact our Admissions Team.
- Complete your employment history. Let us know if you’ve had a part-time or full-time paid job.
- Select your courses. Don’t worry—we will not see where else you’ve applied until you reply to any offers you receive. All of our course details are available on the Futureworks website and our latest prospectus which you can download or order here.
- Write your personal statement. Let us know why you’d like to study your chosen course at Futureworks. Tell us about your talents, skills, experience, and ambitions for a creative career. UCAS has a helpful page on their website for you to refer to.
- Get a reference. Remember, you cannot submit until your referee adds their reference to your application. Ensure you give them plenty of time to complete before the deadline.
- Submit! But, before you do, check your application, read through it and make edits if necessary. Consider asking someone else to check it for you.
If you have any questions about studying at Futureworks, please call us at 0161 214 4600 or email us at [email protected].
Remember to visit for an open day. Even if you’ve already applied, we recommend visiting so you can meet tutors, students, and staff, tour the facilities, and ask any questions you may have.
Good luck! We’re excited and looking forward to receiving your application!
