In-person Open Days are back!

On Saturday the 30th of October Futureworks were absolutely delighted to be able to host our October Open Day – in person, for the first time in almost 2 years.

Open Days are back , and we had so much fun! We’ve been ready to invite visitors and potential students through our doors once again for such a long time, and we’re so glad that lots of you chose to come and spend a few hours with us. Thank you.

This time it was made extra-special, as our fab facilities team worked together to stream live video from our Media City studio for us to watch over at Riverside. This allowed everyone to simultaneously view both of our campuses, showing our filming sets and the green-screen we have available to students.

Have a look at some of our student’s work from the School of Film, TV and Media here  – all created in our Media City studios and using our terrific tech.

Our Open Days are perfect for you if you have an interest in any of our courses. You’re very welcome to come along and learn more about what each course entails, as well as chat to our lovely tutors. Each of them are expert professionals actively working in the industry, so we can safely say that they’ll be able to answer any questions you have for them.

We know how daunting the prospect of moving somewhere new can be, and that’s why we also have some of our current students as well as recent graduates of ours along to help out. Have a chat to them to find out more of a student’s perspective about life at Futureworks, and grab some tips for after graduation too!

You’ll also be taken on a whistle-stop tour of each of our brilliant studios and top-class facilities. It’s here that you’ll see our range of fantastic tech that will be available to you while studying with us!

If you’d like to get in on the action, our next Open Day is taking place on the 4th December – book your place now!

Have a read of our last blog post from our panel at Bolton Film Festival.
